Summary
Erwin Hymer Group North America, Inc. (Erwin Hymer) is recalling certain 2012-2018 Roadtrek E-trek, CS Adventurous, RS Adventurous, SS Agile, Zion, Zion SRT, Simplicity, Simplicity SRT, Hymer Aktiv, Aktiv 2.0, Sonne, Carado Banff, Axion, and Sunlight Van One vehicles. These motorhomes are equipped with Kidde E10 or EH10 Fire Extinguishers that may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or requiring excessive force to activate the extinguisher.
Remedy
Erwin Hymer will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in January 2018.
